Autism/ADHD Consultancy

My Professional Journey into Autism Consultancy

For over 30 years, I have been dedicated to supporting individuals with diverse needs. I began this work by establishing a charity that provided both support and accommodation for vulnerable people, including those with Autism and ADHD. This early experience gave me a strong foundation in understanding the challenges faced by neurodiverse individuals, as well as the importance of creating safe, supportive environments in which they can thrive.

Alongside my practical work, I have undertaken a wide range of professional training in Autism, ADHD, and related fields. This ongoing development has allowed me to combine extensive hands-on experience with evidence-based knowledge, ensuring that the guidance I provide is both informed and effective.

As an Autism and ADHD consultant, I now work with individuals, families, and professionals, offering tailored advice and strategies to promote understanding, resilience, and positive outcomes. My approach is strengths-focused and solution-oriented, helping clients to identify practical ways forward while recognising and building upon their unique abilities.

With over three decades of experience, my aim remains the same: to provide professional, reliable, and compassionate support that empowers people to achieve their potential and enhances understanding of neurodiversity across all areas of life.

I have been fortunate to be involved in many projects and development of services both in the England and Ireland and had the opportunity to present at conferences throughout Europe, all of which has added to my personal experiences and knowledge base.

Receiving a Diagnosis of Autism/ADHD can be life changing, it can present many challenges for all involved, it can be extremely positive as it hopefully respects the way in which an individual experiences the world around them.
